Questions, answered.

What teachers ask before their first lesson.

Lessons

  • An online classroom for tutors and schools, for any subject and age. You create interactive lessons from a description or your own materials, teach them with built-in video, and after class review a report and homework for each student.

  • No. Describe the lesson or attach your materials, review the plan Gomently proposes, and it builds the activities. You check the result and change anything by asking in the same chat.

  • Yes. Attach PDFs, documents, slides, pictures or recordings and describe how you usually teach. The lesson follows your material and your approach.

  • Any subject, in the language you describe it in. The interface is in English, German and Russian.

In class

  • No. Students open one link and type their name, with nothing to install. Only teachers sign in.

  • Yes. Camera, microphone and screen share run in the same room as the lesson. No second tab, no meeting link.

  • Yes. The same room works for a private lesson or a whole class. One tap moves everyone on, and you can open any student’s work to help.

After class

  • Yes. After class, Gomently prepares a report and homework for each student from the mistakes that student made. You review them and share them yourself.

  • Time on each task, right and wrong answers, repeated mistakes and speaking time, collected while the lesson runs. Nothing to fill in afterwards.

Privacy

  • Video is never recorded, and there is no replay. Class audio is transcribed so the report can be written, then deleted (at the latest after 3 days if transcription fails). Only the transcript stays, in your account.

Getting started

  • Yes. Gomently runs in any modern browser on a laptop, tablet or phone, with buttons sized for touch. There is nothing to install.

  • Gomently sends each student’s actions instead of a video of their screen, so their work stays sharp on a poor connection. Video adapts to the bandwidth.

  • Yes, in any subject. Each teacher works in their own account and builds lessons from the school’s materials and approach. Administration across many teachers is not available yet, so a pilot with a few teachers is the best start.

  • Nothing. Gomently is free for teachers during early access. Sign in with an email link and create your first lesson.

  • There are no payments, class recordings, parents’ accounts, administration across many teachers, or links to other school systems and calendars yet. Reports and homework wait for you to check and share; nothing reaches students or parents automatically.
